What is the Securedesk The SecureDesk is as the name implies a desk or workspace fully integrated around a desktop computer to provide optimum security and maximum workspace. The main benefits of the SecureDesk: Security The SecureDesk is a unique IT solution, by design it is intended to provide high level security & robustness for IT equipment in a classroom environment. The PC is entirely enclosed in a steel cassette within the desktop. All connections are securely hidden, preventing interference with mice or other peripherals. All drives and ports can similarly be locked away, either permanently or behind lockable plates Flexibility In addition, the SecureDesk can also provide the institution with unrivalled flexibility in the classroom. With its unique monitor stow-away solution, a room can be transformed from an ICT suite to a more traditional classroom in minutes. The monitor retracts into the desk vertically, with separate storage room for the keyboard and mouse.
Space Saving To compliment the security and flexibility aspects of the SecureDesk, the solution also provides great space saving on and around the desk itself. With no traditional PC on the desk or floor, it provides plenty of room both above and beneath the desktop, with the work-surface cleared of clutter. Aesthetically Pleasing Whether it’s a showpiece ICT suite, or a room which has difficult cabling requirements, the SecureDesk sets itself apart from a traditional PC with it’s unique, in built cabling tunnel management system. All power and network cables are tunnelled through the desk to ensure that no excess cables are on show. This also means that only 1 double power socket is required for every 10 desks as these are daisy chained together. Unique Solution – Standard equipment Given the unique selling points of the SecureDesk, it may surprise you to know that the PC components are all industry standard. In essence we’ve designed a unique chassis to compliment the customer requirements of security, flexibility and space saving. All PC components are upgradable and available on the high street.
